Fall of 2018 was my first semester of my industrial design eduction in the Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture at the University of Houston. It was a fundamentals semester and included so many various learning experiences which not only apply do education, but all aspects of life. These are those lessons.
Don’t dwell on any projects
Don’t be afraid to pivot an idea
Fail Fast
Be aware of your weaknesses
Build a daily schedule for yourself that works for you
You have done something completely or you haven’t done it. No middle ground
Commit to a design process
The tough or boring parts of creation is all part of the process. You have to deal with it in order to get the right product.
